1. Your Chapters Literary Arts Center donation will build a new home for our 22- year-old local, legendary,indie bookstore, where we will advocate to preserve literary culture and promote literacy outreach.

3. You, like us, are appalled by DC's 37% illiteracy rate, and want to invest in local efforts to reduce that.

10. The CHAPTERS Literary Arts Center will continue to host the city's only series of Literary To-Do's, and an array of free monthly cultural and community programs.
